Canelo Negro is a daring creation, conceived for daring travelers. Born from the South American shamanic ritual, it carries within its essence the spicy freshness of Canelo Mapuche, wrapped in juniper tar smoke, Amazonian mapacho tobacco, and deep wood notes of cedar and Uruguayan carobá, distilled by master distiller Matías Abreu.
It's a fragrance that awakens spiritual power, where Palo Santo and Labdanum resin lead the way. Black Cinnamon is primitive, fierce, and sensual. The ashes of sacred smoke merge with the indecipherable: a scent that has never existed before.
Its main note, the Chilean cinnamon (Drimys winteri), a sacred tree of the Mapuche people, represents for them the cosmic axis or Axis Mundis. Axis mundi is a concept found in many cultures and is a point of connection between heaven and earth (Mapu) where all directions of a compass converge. At this point, journeys and correspondences are made between higher and lower realms.
